One Button Does It All

This thing could not be easier to operate. Press the button once, and it powers on. Then once it vibrates and the light turns green, you’re ready to load up and go. Double-press and you get vapor boost mode for a little extra output, and if you double-click again, you’re in super boost territory for even more vapor on demand.

The one thing I’m not a fan of is that it automatically drops back down to your baseline temperature after 90 seconds, which is meant to protect your herb from getting cooked, but it does interrupt the flow if you’re in the middle of a longer session.

The fix is easy, though. Hop into the app and switch on the permanent boost option, and it’ll hold that higher temp for as long as you need.

Vapor Quality and Chamber Size

You’re working with a bowl that fits about a quarter of a gram, which is a solid size for something this portable. Hits off VEAZY are bigger than I expected going in. It’s not going to fully replace a desktop unit; that’s just physics, but for a device this size, it’s about as close as you’re going to get, and I’d put it up there with the best portable vaporizers on the market right now.

The catch is that with vapor output this strong, it’s tough to fully clear the bowl in a single hit. You’ll probably need a couple pulls to really get through everything loaded in there, but that’s a small price to pay for how dense the clouds actually are.

Temperature Range and the App

The VEAZY vaporizer tops out at 410°F, and while that might sound limited on paper, it’s right where you want to be for dry herb. Because it doesn’t push past that ceiling, you don’t have to worry about it combusting on you, which keeps things smooth and consistent hit after hit.

To get into the app and fine-tune your temperature, you’ll need a Bluetooth-enabled browser on your phone. It defaults to Celsius out of the box, but switching over to Fahrenheit takes about ten seconds once you’re in the settings.

There are other dope settings on the app as well. I recommend turning on Charge Current Optimization and Charge Voltage Limit, both of which go a long way toward keeping your battery healthy over the long run. This is also where you can turn off the auto boost reset after 90 seconds by selecting the Permanent Boost option.

Battery Life Could Be Better

If you’re a heavy hitter, this is where the Veazy vaporizer might disappoint you a bit. You’re looking at somewhere between 40 and 50 minutes of actual use per charge, which works out to about seven or eight sessions depending on what temperature you’re running. That’s less than what you’d get from a bigger portable. The upside is that you can keep using it while it’s plugged in and charging.

Dry Herb Only, Don’t Push Your Luck

I know some people do concentrates, too, but VEAZY is built for dry herb and dry herb only. Because the max temperature caps out at 410°F, running concentrates through it is a bad idea. You’ll end up with oil pooling in the cooling unit, and there’s a real risk of it dripping down onto the heater and messing up the internals. It’s just not worth the gamble, so stick to flower, and you’ll have zero issues.
