FloraWorks Brings TruCBN™ to Market at SupplySide Global 2026, Invites Supplement Brands to Try the Clinically Studied Ingredient Firsthand

Attendees can opt in to a 30-day sleep study at the FloraWorks booth and receive a complimentary 30-day supply of TruCBN softgels

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 29, 2026 – FloraWorks, the cannabinoid biotech company behind TruCBN™, today announced the commercial launch of its patented, ultra-pure cannabinol (CBN) ingredient to the dietary supplement industry at SupplySide Global 2026, taking place Oct. 28 to 30 in Las Vegas. FloraWorks will exhibit at Booth #7013.

Attendees who want to experience TruCBN™ for themselves can opt in to a 30-day sleep study at the FloraWorks booth. Each attendee who enrolls during SupplySide Global will receive a complimentary 30-day supply of TruCBN™ softgels and track their sleep in the Chloe app by People Science. Enrollment will be open to all SupplySide attendees and available through a QR code located at booth #7013, up to 1000 participants. This study gives brand decision-makers, formulators and marketers a direct way to evaluate the ingredient in their own nightly routine before bringing it into a formulation.

“Brands evaluating a new ingredient want evidence they can hand to their regulatory and formulation teams,” said Alleh Lindquist, CEO and co-founder of FloraWorks. “We built TruCBN™ on a 1,020-person clinical trial, published safety data and a patented process that produces a standardized ingredient you can rely on. SupplySide puts that full package in front of the people who build supplements, and the sleep study lets them experience it for themselves.”

The evidence behind TruCBN:

  • Clinical data. In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 1,020 adults published in the peer-reviewed journal Pharmaceuticals (2024), each of three TruCBN™ doses, as well as melatonin, improved sleep disturbance scores compared with placebo over six weeks, with adverse events no higher than placebo. The trial was conducted by Radicle Science (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT05511818).
  • Safety data. A 90-day oral toxicology study published in Toxicology Reports (2026) established a no-observed-adverse-effect level (NOAEL) of 400 mg/kg/day, the highest dose tested. TruCBN™ also tested negative in Ames and micronucleus genotoxicity assays.
  • Regulatory pathway. FloraWorks has completed an internal GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) assessment for TruCBN™, which is now under review by an independent panel of qualified scientific experts. The company is also preparing a New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) notification to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
  • Patented manufacturing. TruCBN™ is produced under U.S. Patent No. 12,371,412 B2, which covers a scalable and economical manufacturing process using standard food-processing techniques.

“Buyers and formulators hear ingredient pitches all week at SupplySide. We want them to take TruCBN™ home, use it for 30 days and track their own sleep in the Chloe app.” said Micah Hogan, Chief Growth Officer of FloraWorks. “That firsthand experience gives brand teams a practical way to evaluate TruCBN™ before they commit to a formulation.”

Alleh Lindquist, CEO and co-founder, and Micah Hogan, Chief Growth Officer, will be available for media interviews at Booth #7013 throughout SupplySide Global, Oct. 28th-30th. To schedule an interview, contact Mike Mejer at the information below.
