The Exxus Go Plus Vaporizer Changed My Mind About Dabbing

I must admit, I’m a huge flower girl – there is nothing like a traditional joint. The ritual art of rolling one up, whether I’m alone or with friends, is almost as curative as the cannabis itself.

It really wasn’t until I got to college my freshman year that I dabbled in dabbing – I moved into a student apartment with three others I had never met and on move-in day I watched my one older roommate carry in a giant glass rig and a blow torch.

It didn’t take long before I was accepting late-night dab rips with the roomie. Even though I was always down for trying some new cannabis concentrate at a party or ripping someone’s rig over my college years, I was always somewhat turned off by the process of it all. I’ve been intimidated by the huge butane torches and I’ve had my fair share of burning coughs and too-hot dab hits (or as I call it in between coughs, “spicy hits”).

When the electronic dab rig era emerged years back, my interest was recollected. I watched as my cannaisseur friends smoked with such ease and gawked over the delicious, terpy tastes of their wax. It’s been cool to watch these new innovative vapes and e-rigs enter cannabis retail, with each brand putting its twist on the classic cannabis concentrate vaporizer.

My exploration of various cannabis markets across the country and Ganjier training has led me to seek out the ultimate e-rig for personal use. As you can imagine, the options are endlessly daunting – I got in touch with the team at the Got Vape online shop, one of the largest and leading online shop for vapes. After the package they just sent me (just in time for the unofficial cannabis dab holiday), I think I’ve found the best new vaporizer.

What It Includes

The Exxus Go Plus Concentrate Vaporizer is a classic electronic dab rig with a modern twist. The device itself is innovative and advanced in its efforts for a tasteful and rapid dab experience. No intimidating blow torch or sketchy butane required.

Opening up the compact box of the Exxus Go Plus Concentrate Vaporizer, I had no idea these three pieces of the vaporizer were about to change my perspective and experience of dabbing forever. First of all, this electronic vaporizer was fully charged, which is always a satisfying detail to receive as an insatiable stoner.

The battery base of this e-rig has two inserts: one for the glass bubbler and mouthpiece to insert, which magnetically connects the instant you draw both together. The other insert was for the heating chamber, which was easily screwed in.

Overall, this electronic vaporizer included:

  • Coil-less quartz tank

  • Glass carp cap with a silicone tether

  • Optional LED light display

  • Manual/Auto heating mode

  • Wide-range temperature control

  • Powered by a 5200mAh battery

The manual or auto mode on this vaporizer acts as an option for you to manually control the vaporizer’s heat, or to allow it to adjust the performance based on the concentrates.

Turning the device on and off is done with a few quick clicks of a button, and arrows indicate whether you want to increase or decrease the time and temperature settings. These temperature controls are displayed over an LED light so all the device’s basic information could be read.

While I’m not an expert on understanding the quality or kind of technology required for creating an e-rig, I can say that the simplicity of assembling the product and its light accessibility made for a great first impression.

A Terp-Tastic 7/10 Celebration

The delivery of this Exxus Go Plus from Got Vape was thoughtfully delivered just in time for 7/10, the unofficial cannabis oil holiday and day of dabbing. Luckily, I had mysteriously had some Whitethorn Rose Live Rosin from Heritage Hash Co. in Ukiah, California, make it home with me from my last travel. I had just a few globs left to try a few tastes out of this new Exxus vaporizer.

When the product’s packaging advertised a wide temperature range, they weren’t kidding. The device can heat from as low as 315°F to a hot 900°F. I’ve learned my lesson about hot dabs so I stayed on the lower side, around 420° is always an initial start for me (pun intended) but after a few hits, I went a bit higher to the 500° temperature.

Regardless of the temperature I set the vape to, the device was heated within seconds. Really, it was always ready to go before I was.

As if the process couldn’t get any smoother, the first sip I took from the bubbler’s mouthpiece I could taste the rich, creamy, and fruity flavors of this legacy strain.

At first, I thought I didn’t even get a proper hit – I was waiting for an insanely large cloud of vapor to blow out or for my lungs to fill with intense heat. It didn’t take long for the confirmation to hit, I indeed got high, it was just the most smooth and sophisticated dab I’ve ever taken. No coughing necessary.

Exxus Go Plus Vaporizer: Made for Dab Experts and Newbies Alike

I’m still working on the perfect temperature for my cannabis concentrates. It’s a perfectly fine-tuned balance between a tastefully smooth rip without the coughing and that hot and heady high feeling.

Nothing will ever rip quite the same as a traditional dab rig. The blow torch and butane are intimidating at times, but it does get the job done. For the sake of convenience, safety, and efficiency, the Exxus Go Plus Vaporizer is an ideal way for me to enjoy the terpy tastes of my cannabis concentrate collection without the burnt butane taste.

Between the clear and simple design of the device and its efficient battery life and modern technology, the Go Plus Vaporizer by Exxus Vape is made for both the concentrate enthusiast and the neophyte.  It’s definitely changed my mind about dabbing concentrates.
